Cooking

  1. Heat a large pot and add the diced bacon. Sauté for a short moment to let it crisp up and render its fat.
  2. Add the garlic and wait for about 30 seconds until it turns golden brown.
  3. Stir in the onion and fry until the edges begin to brown.
  4. Add the carrot and potato, and sauté lightly together with the rest.
  5. Add the cooked rice and mix thoroughly. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, add a pinch of salt, and stir well once more to combine everything evenly.
  6. Cover with a lid and let it cook/simmer for about 15 minutes .
  7. Garnish with the sliced green onion when serving.
