- Heat a large pot and add the diced bacon. Sauté for a short moment to let it crisp up and render its fat.
- Add the garlic and wait for about 30 seconds until it turns golden brown.
- Stir in the onion and fry until the edges begin to brown.
- Add the carrot and potato, and sauté lightly together with the rest.
- Add the cooked rice and mix thoroughly. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, add a pinch of salt, and stir well once more to combine everything evenly.
- Cover with a lid and let it cook/simmer for about 15 minutes .
- Garnish with the sliced green onion when serving.
